The  Riverbank premises were purpose built in 1993, initially to accommodate 2 practices. These practices merged in 1998 allowing for more efficient use of staff, time and space.

The premises are located facing Janet Street with an open outlook on to the Thurso River. Access is through the car park entrance on Davidson's Lane. There are designated Disabled Parking bays and dropped kerbs. The car park is shared with Thurso Community Health Centre where District Nurses and other community services are based. The close proximity of these services ensures close cooperation with the Community Nurses.
